When you have to Fight for Yourself in Silence

Some days, it’s not about being strong.
It’s about being present.
Even when your mind is loud.
Even when your body is tired.
Even when your spirit feels disconnected from everything, even God.
Mental illness isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it’s invisible.
Sometimes it’s you, sitting quietly in a room, just trying.
Trying to smile—
Trying to eat—
Trying to move—
Trying to remember who you were before the fog rolled in.
And in those moments, when it feels like no one sees you…
God does.
He hears the silent prayers.
He sees the effort behind the smallest actions.
And even when you feel like you’ve got nothing left,
the Spirit intercedes on your behalf.
So if all you did today was show up—
in your own way, in your own time—
that’s still a victory.
You are still healing.
You are still growing.
You are still here.
Even when you don’t feel like it.
