Girl, Be For Real: A Series Episode 3

Exhibit C: The Fan-Dry Dance

Now this one had me questioning both his masculinity and my life choices.

I had just showered. I’m lotioning up, minding my business.

He walks in the room, naked, wet, water was glistening “All Over His Body”, and I assume he’s looking for a towel.

Wrong.

He walks over to the box fan in the corner, stands directly in front of it, spreads his arms like Rose on the Titanic, and starts twirling.

TWIRLING, Sis.

He said, “This how I air-dry. I don’t like towels… they steal my moisture.”

Your what now??

This man spun in a full circle like a microwaving rotisserie chicken and then had the nerve to strike a pose like he’d just performed.

And when I didn’t clap? He said I was “killing the vibe.”

If I wasn’t already emotionally unavailable, I would’ve left right then.

But instead, I turned the fan up to level 3 and just… watched.

Because at that point? I needed to see how it ended.
