Jay: “Games? You think I’m playing games? What about that time you didn’t show up for our date? Or when you ignored my calls?”
Mya: (Firmly) “Yeah, yeah, those were mistakes, Jay. But this… this is different. I’m choosing to move on. You should too.”
Jay: (Defensively) “You’re just running away from your own problems. Don’t put this all on me.”
Mya: (Sighs) “Believe whatever you want. I’m done explaining myself to you.” and went back to her run.
She couldn't lie, she was glad Jay couldn't see the koolaid smile plastered across her face...
Jay’s Petty Response
Jay, determined to make Mya eat her words, posted pictures on social media with another woman, trying to make her jealous. However, he wasn't ready for the clapback Mya had in store for him.
Mya saw the pictures and felt a surge of emotions mixed with anger, humor, inspiration and determination.
Mya (inner thoughts): “Really, Jay? You think this is gonna bother me?” Maya decided to channel her frustration and emotions into a powerful diss track.
